So it’s spring in Rhode Island. Oh yeah, I think it’s finally here.
This, after a week of torrential rains, the worst flooding in more than 200 years, FEMA intervention and two official days off from work due to sewage backup. Pretty exciting stuff.

So today the sun is out and it’s about 68 degrees. Crazy, right?
I took a stroll in the little hamlet of Wickford, RI today, bought a couple of lobsters for dinner tonight and snapped a few photos. Went through the town park where they were getting ready for the Easter egg hunt. But by far my favorite part is just strolling down Main Street. Here’s my favorite house, that if by some act of God I received a million bucks I’d buy (it probably costs more than a million, but I can dream, can’t I?)

Built back in the mid-1700s and is now broken up into several condos, but I just know I could do an incredible job bringing it back to its original glory. C’mon, just give me a chance.
So, back to reality. Spent a few hours working on my art journaling, which I’m really enjoying now. Latest creation.

I’m getting ready to travel to Idaho for 5 days in May to art camp. No, really. Me, at art camp. Actually, it’s called Brave Girls Camp. I’m really excited about it - the chance to meet other artistic women and to get away for a few days from “normal” life. I’ll let you know how it all turns out. Can’t help but wonder how this East Coast girl will make out in the Mid-West. Better leave my sarcastic wit at home.
